I am proud to be the Home Manager of Stowford House.

We have a dedicated and caring team here, who take part in all aspects of residents life, and aim to give them outstanding levels of care. Our home always enjoys holding parties and gatherings with our residents!

I trained and qualified as a nurse, before moving to becoming a nurse manager. I am now happy to be a manager in our care home.

Since joining Stowford House when it opened in 2011, I have enjoyed every day! Days are always different, and I enjoy making sure our residents are healthy and cared for.
When I’m not at work I enjoy gardening and spending time with my family.

I’m Laura and I’m a Senior Health Care Assistant, where my role is to take care of residents on a day to day basis.
I love my job – I enjoy caring for people! I’ve been at Stowford house since it first opened and have loved every minute of it!

When I’m not at work, I have 2 young children to keep busy mostly at soft play areas or swimming pools!

I’ve worked at Stowford House for 3 years. I am responsible for health & safety, fire checks and all other general repairs. I enjoy the variety of my job and the different challenges it presents.

I have worked at Stowford House for 7 years. I took on the role as Head Housekeeper after starting off working as a Kitchen Assistant. Stowford is a friendly place to work and we are one big family. I enjoy my job very much, no day is the same. In my free time I look after my grandson and also like to knit and sew.

I initially joined Stowford House as a deputy chef, but with the training available here I was able to work my way up to Head of Catering/Head Chef.
I love my job – I love cooking and enabling residents to enjoy their food!
In my free time, I volunteer for charities, and I am proud to be a Dementia Friend.
